Just in time to deal with the  paper recycling crisis, Pratt Industries  is building a paper mill and  cardboard box  processing plant in Ohio

 In Smithtown we will  again  be separating our paper, and clean cardboard  from plastics and cans.Empty  aerosal cans are now allowed.

Only  milk soda , water  and detergent bottles are to be recycled. However soda and water bottles can be redeemded  for a nickel per bottle

No glass is to be tossed into the recycling container  It shatters making the other recyclables of no value.  .It now should be placed in our regular garbage.  

  Clean recycling is the market requirement.
